Favourite Class at IHN
My favorite class by far was the fundamentals of nutrition; it enlightened me to the truth regarding the real cause and prevention of disease and was exactly the type of education I was looking for. Learning how the enviroment, foods, vitamins, minerals, amino acids etc. affects our health was an essential foundation for becoming the best health practitioner possible and provided me with invaluable knowledge inspiring me to help myself and others with their health challenges.
The textbooks chosen for the course were exceptional; staying healthy with nutrition, fats that heal, fats that kill and Jensen’s guide to bowel health along with the course notes provided an indispensable wealth of knowledge that helped me lay the foundation for a extremely fulfilling and successful career as a healthcare practitioner.
Most Memorable Moment at IHN
My most memorable moment was the first day that I walked into the school and met with Elizabeth, the school director. The sparkle in her eye, the positive energy from her spirit, the passion and the vision she had for creating a nutrition school that was based on scientific evidence and encouraged critical and objective thinking resonated with me deeply.

Currently Doing in the Field of Holistic Nutrition
Emerging as one of the field’s top nutritionists; Darko has been a faculty member at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition over the past 14 years where he teaches Nutrition and Health: The Fundamentals, Clinical Detoxification; Iridology and Clinical Nutrition in Professional Practice.
Currently Darko runs a busy private practice in Toronto at Biosis Healthcare. He has appeared on numerous television engagements such as the health segment on CTV news in Ottawa and Toronto (links below) and is a sought after health expert at many speaking engagements such as the “Total Health Show” and one of the largest health shows in Canada; the “Whole Life Expo”.
