Are You Getting Enough Fat?

There is a lot of information circulating about the dangers of dietary fat.
Some types of fats are unhealthy, but other fats have important roles in the body – and are vital for good health and disease prevention.
Fat is a major component of the crucial wrapper around every cell in the body, and makes up 70% of the brain. Deficiencies of certain fats are associated with depression, Alzhiemer’s disease, joint problems, skin conditions, and decreased immunity.
This evidence-based lecture will help you understand WHICH fats are beneficial, the best ways to get them, and how much you need.

Optimal Digestion for Life
With Josh Gitalis, B.A. (Hons) C.N.P.  R.N.C.P.

Digestion is the key to optimal health. All health and all disease begin in the digestive tract. Digestion is the process that turns food into us and gives rise to the phrase “you are what you eat”. Many people ignore the fact that in order to benefit from the food we eat, we must fully digest it, absorb it, and the assimilate it.
In this lecture you will learn the basics of the digestive process and how to keep your digestion working for you instead of against you for the rest of your life.
Josh will address the following questions:
· What is digestion?
· How does it work?
· Why do some people feel tired after eating?
· What do certain signs and symptoms mean, related to digestion?
· What foods compromise optimal digestion?
· What foods, herbs, and supplements help us to digest?

There will be a lot useful information to “digest”, all of which you’ll be able to put into practice right away.
