Lisa Bridgman, C.N.P., R.O.H.P.

Lisa is a graduate of a culinary background from George Brown College in Toronto. After several years of working in the culinary industry she ran a successful Bed & Breakfast outside the Toronto area. Here her love of farm life and whole foods turned into a passion of hers. She provided her guests with fresh organic vegetables and eggs as well as chickens, ducks, and turkeys that were all grown right there. Lisa continued learning about food on a nutritional and healing level through The Institute of Holistic Nutrition and received her diploma with first class honours in Applied Holistic Nutrition. Lisa is also a Certified Cancer Project Alliance Partner Chef which enables her to teach the “Food for Life” classes.
Lisa’s passion is about spreading the word of good wholesome food and how it can turn your health around. She has done many workshops and presentations that are focused on people who have had cancer at Wellspring Cancer Support Centres, including “Food For Life” Cooking Classes. Lisa also devotes time to doing workshops on “Making Your Own Baby Food” which helps new Moms and families, as well as classes on “Eating More Greens” at the Milton Community Resource Centre.
Lisa currently works as a C.N.P., R.O.H.P., focused on helping people with cancer and diabetes at Bronte Naturopathic Centre in Milton, ON. Lisa teaches cooking classes for cancer prevention and treatment through the institute of Holistic Nutrition Continuing Education department.
