Murat Vardar, BSc (Hon), RNCP
Murat received his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto completing a specialist program in Nutritional Sciences with a minor in Human Biology. He was the recipient of the Clara C. Benson Award in Food Chemistry awarded to the student demonstrating the the highest level of proficiency in this subject. Since 1998, Murat has been successfully operating an innovative internet-based health service with the focus of providing an accessible source of reliable nutrition information to consumers and website content to internet providers such as AOL Canada and AllExperts.com. A practicing nutrition consultant for the past 10 years with a primary focus as a holistic educator, he has taught and designed curriculum content for a wide variety of nutrition topics. With additional experience in both the Food and Natural Health Products industries, Murat combines his intricate knowledge of current nutrition research with the healing principles of holistic health. He has completed courses on effective communication & presentation skills endorsed by the Professional Speakers Bureau of Canada and is an energetic lecturer with a passion for all things nutrition related. Murat currently teaches Fundamentals of Nutrition, Preventative Health Care, Nutrition through the Lifespan and Comparative Diets, as well as the popular continuing education course on Nutrition and Mental Health.
