Natalie Rogers, B.A. (hons), C.N.P., RNCP, ROHP.

Natalie began her university career at the University of Toronto where she earned an Honours BA in Anthropology and Archaeology. Her field of interest was the early human occupation of North America, specifically the role of women and their contribution to the diet in these early societies, as evidenced in the archaeological record. Her work in this field at the Masters level earned her the Melissa J. Knauer Award for feminist studies at the University of Toronto. After the birth of her first child, Natalie’s career took a sudden curve, leading her away from archaeology and into studies in Lactation and Breastfeeding Support at Women’s College Hospital and Centennial College and later, studies in Childbirth Education at both Centennial and Humber Colleges where she earned Honours Certificates. In addition, Natalie has trained as a Doula with Doulas of North America (DONA), and is a regular Musical Performer with her band, “The Wanted”. As a result of her wide-ranging education and life experience, Natalie brought a unique perspective to the study of nutrition when she decided to pursue a new career at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition (IHN), where she graduated with First Class Honours, and was Valedictorian for her class. Natalie now works as a private practitioner and gives corporate and public presentations on nutrition and family health. Natalie is excited to join the faculty at IHN where she can share her passion and enthusiasm for the study of nutrition with new generations of students. Natalie teaches Preventative Health Care at IHN.
