Sarah Dobec B.A. C.N.P.

Sarah has always been fascinated by the connection between whole foods, health and healing. Her wonder transitioned from a personal interest to a career change after interning on an organic farm for an entire summer. There she learned, hands on, the benefit of wholesome, local, organic food.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University and her Certified Nutritional Practitioner designation from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition with First Class Honours. She is an on-site nutritionist and cooking instructor at The Big Carrot Natural Food Market and she runs a small tour company dedicated to connecting city folk to their food and local farmers to their consumers called Field Trip. Sarah is a published author with articles on health and travel in Vitality Magazine, The Toronto Star, HANS and suite101.com. Sarah has worked with organizations such as The Ontario Centers of Excellence, Toronto District School Board, University Health Network and the Blue Mountain Women’s Weekend. Sarah is an instructor at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she teaches Nutrition and the Environment.
